Holy camole! Yes, I like to make up words from time to time… but this year has been incredible!!!
We’ve created more wedding gowns than ever before (I did a quick count and we are looking at about 50 brides!!) which just blows my mind.
I’ll always be fond of the very first wedding dresses we created but by golly, I’ve loved every dress we created in 2014.
Here is our wrap-up… there was lace, there was tulle, there was a touch of beading and boy oh boy, there was a heap of silk. We went crazy on lace sleeves (literally), we created a number of gorgeous tea-length gowns and every time, we did something different. Because that’s what we do!
Enjoy! And we’ll see you in 2015 for more awesomeness xxx
P.S If I missed you, it’s not because I don’t love you but because we don’t have photos or they aren’t web quality.
We love nothing more than playing with beautiful lace… Janina’s dress was no different. We worked with a delicate ivory corded lace over a blush pink silk satin to create a vintage lace wedding dress for her English wedding. The hint of colour enhanced the lace and added to the vintage style.
Janina provided us with a lovely testimonial about her experience so I’ll let her tell you the story!
“I was living in Perth whilst planning my wedding and wanted to find someone who could help me to design and create a dress that would fit the gorgeous English setting of Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park where Nick and I were to be married in October. I was referred through a friend who had also had her dress made by the team at Elvi Design. When I looked on their website, I knew it was going to be the right place – the dresses are all so unique and gorgeous! Sandra really took the time to understand what I was looking to create and the anticipation and excitement built at each fitting. I was so happy with the end result. The lace was so intricate and the dress really fitted the setting for our wedding. So many guests commented on how beautiful my dress was and it felt great to know I was wearing a one-of-a-kind creation! My sincere thanks go to the team at Elvi Design!” – Janina, Oct 2014
