Mariana’s Lace Wedding Gown and Veil

Mariana and Phillip exchanged vows under beautiful gum trees at rustic venue, Nukara Farm, just outside of their home town Geraldton.

We created a beautiful, soft lace wedding gown with lace cap sleeves for Mariana. The gown was finished with a soft silk satin sash and handmade buttons. Mariana opted for a chapel length lace edge veil which we made to match her lace wedding gown. My favourite accessory has to be the cowboy boots Mariana wore!! They certainly added the country element she was looking for and I love that the whole bridal party embraced the look!

Mariana would travel down from Geraldton to attend fittings with us. We would work with her to tie her appointments in with planned trips to Perth. Provided we have plenty of notice, we can create a custom wedding gown with only two trips to Perth. A few words from Mariana about how they created their unique wedding…

“We wanted a small and simple wedding but one that truly represented us. Nukara Farm in Geraldton was the perfect venue for us, as it was a country setting with a rustic feel. We went for a country/ rustic/ vintage theme which opened itself up to DIY projects, allowing me to get creative and have fun creating the decorations. I loved every moment of the wedding, and every aspect of it, but one of my favorite things were the cow girl boots. It began as a bit of a joke between my husband and I, which we then thought ‘why not have fun with it’. I’m glad the bridesmaids were enthusiastic about the idea!”

The only advice I can give to future brides is advice that was given to me, and that is that the day goes so quick, so make sure you take a moment to yourself, look around, take everything in, and enjoy your special day.
