Candice’s Epic Tulle Wedding Gown with Detachable Cape

So I really think there is only one word for Candice’s tulle wedding gown and that is EPIC.

We worked closely with Candice to create the perfect wedding dress for her. She opted for a beaded lace bodice with sleeves and a soft tulle skirt. To finish off her look and add a touch of drama, we created a soft cape that fell from the shoulders of the dress. The cape was an elegant alternative to a traditional veil.

Candice and David got married in Brisbane at the Brisbane Racing Club. Their wedding vendors include-

Photographer: Todd Hunter McGaw // Flowers: Pink + Purple Petals // Hair: The Blow Dry Bar, Brisbane// Make-up: Napoleon Concept Store Brisbane

“Of all our suppliers, I definitely enjoyed working with Sandra and Birgitta. Having such a personal experience with my dressmakers was absolutely wonderful, and without this, I doubt my dream dress would have become a reality” – Candice, February 2015

Candice’s Favourite Wedding Day Moment

“My favourite moment was definitely stepping out onto the aisle with my father and seeing an emotional David at the other end. It was a wonderful gift to have the two most important men in my life there with me.”

Candice’s Piece of Advice for Bride-to-be’s

“If possible, spend time as much time with your parents on your wedding day. We were fortunate enough to have them sitting opposite us during the reception (we had one long table for all 100 guests). A wedding is such a special moment for the whole family, so it was lovely having them as close to us as possible.”
