It was clear from the very beginning that Lucy was after a short wedding dress that was elegant, simple and comfortable enough for her to dance the night away. We came up with the sweetest frock, a structured scoop neck silk dupion dress with an a-line skirt. The dress was finished with the cutest bow detail and buttons down the back.
Lucy and Tom held a beautiful church service at Christ Church in Claremont followed by a relaxed, fun reception at Floreat Beach Club.
When reflecting on the big day, Lucy had the following advice for future brides-
What was the most important thing to you on your wedding day?
To be focused on marrying Tom. Everything else was a bonus but saying our vows and meaning them, not worrying about anything else at that time, was really important to us.
Do you have any advice you’d like to pass on to other brides?
Don’t sweat the small stuff – it sounds cliche but on the day, no one notices the small mistakes!
How did your wedding dress make you feel?
Elegant, pretty and above all, comfortable!
