Lisa and Lee wed at The Vines Resort in the Swan Valley. We created a gorgeous lace and soft tulle wedding dress which was accessorised with a long veil and beaded headpiece. Being a true romantic, Lisa opted for a traditional colour scheme of red for her wedding. The result was stunning!

I wanted to email to say a huge thank you to you both for creating the most amazing wedding dress for me. It was as if you jumped into my head and saw what I had been dreaming of my whole life. I can’t express my gratitude enough. I felt like a queen the whole day and I didn’t want to take it off! I have already recommended Elvi Design to some friends that have recently gotten engaged and will continue to do so. Thanks A Million! – Lisa Redmond, Nov 14

When thinking about what she’d like to wear on her wedding day, Gaenor reminisced about the wedding dress her Aunty once wore. Gaenor had a picture of her as a flower girl and her Aunty in a lovely lace wedding gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves. We used this inspiration to create an epic full-length lace wedding gown with elegant long sleeves.
Gaenor and Travis married at Brookleigh Estate on a perfect Spring day last year. They had a wonderful bunch of vendors that brought their vision to life-

I find putting a specific moment into words as my ‘favourite’ to be an almost impossible task. Our wedding day contained so many moments which I will remember forever. To me, the special moments seemed to be endless. In saying this, I would have to say one of my favourite moments was our first dance as a married couple (something that prior to the wedding I was nervous about!). It was so special to have all our ‘nearest and dearest’ surrounding us on the dancefloor as we shared this intimate moment. For me it was at this moment that everything else seemed to fade away. There was only Travis and I. It was a moment that I realised how special the day really was. I could not wipe the smile off my face.
In many ways my wedding dress was created from the inspiration of a photograph taken of my auntie’s wedding dress. As her flower girl all those years ago, I remember thinking she was the most beautiful, elegant bride I had ever seen. I knew straight away that the classic, off the shoulder, sleeved gown that she wore was the style of gown I was also after. My dress, thanks to Sandra and Birgitta was exactly what I had in mind. Wearing my dress on the day was extra special as I felt I had a connection with it. It was something I had been involved in, a reflection of my personality and style. It was such an amazing experience seeing it all come together and finally being able to wear it on the day knowing it was exactly what I wanted.
The theme of our wedding day came from my love of country properties and growing up with horses. Brookleigh Estate, being an Equestrian Estate, provided the perfect setting for our day. Being married in front of the old wooden stable encapsulated the rustic/country theme we were going for perfectly.
We created a short wedding dress for Liz using the most exquisite embroidered lace which gave the gown a relaxed, bohemian feel. Liz teamed the dress with a flower crown by Ivy Flowers and the coolest blue floral heels! Liz & Marcus wanted to create a day that reflected them, by the sounds of it, they did a pretty good job!

There were so many, but here is a few….
– My Dad walking me down the aisle (he lives in the London and broke his hip a few weeks before the wedding so this was pretty incredible)
– My Mum doing a reading from Buffy the Vampire Slayer at our ceremony
– Putting on my wedding dress and my 3 yr old niece telling me I looked like a Princess
– Marcus and I both doing DJ sets at our Reception
– Becoming Elizabeth Taylor…….
We were so lucky and all our suppliers were incredible. Kidogo Arthouse, Ivy Flowers, Christine Lim, Poppets Pantry, and of course Elvi Design, from start to end working with Sandra and Birgitta was a joy, I gave Sandra a really small picture of the idea of what I liked and she was able to turn it into the perfect wedding dress. It was amazing to be able to see the dress develop over the months.
We choose suppliers that understood what we valued, that we connected with, allowed us be creative and let us have the wedding day we envisioned. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and made the experience very special.
That our wedding was about us, we wanted our day to represent us as a couple. I think we achieved this, our ceremony was very personal and lots of fun. It was important that it was a casual and relaxed day. We had lots of friends and family that had travelled to be at our day so it was important to spend as much time with them as possible. From the music, the readings, the favours we were 100% involved, it was every inch about Marcus and I.
Thanks for sharing your wedding with us Liz!
I was super excited when Amanda contacted me to contribute to an upcoming styled shoot. Amanda strung together a great group of Perth wedding vendors to create a laid-back styled shoot in the back streets of Fremantle with a gorgeous real life couple. I have to say that my favourite photos are those with Monique & Toby eating sorbet! How cute are those two?!?
We dressed Monique in our Jade boho gown from our new collection. We finished the look with a long veil with a lace trim and a flower crown by Fox & Rabbit.
