Rachel and Nick wed at a private property in Jarrahdale, the rural location provided the perfect backdrop for their relaxed wedding with family and friends. Being an architect, Rachel wanted something different, she opted for a tea length tulle wedding gown with a fitted illusion lace bodice. We played with the neckline to create an angular feature line as a nod to her interest in architecture, this was complimented by a soft ‘v’ at the back and the blue pointy shoes she wore. The shorter hemline allowed Rachel to move freely on her wedding day and dance the night away without ruining her dress in the bush setting!
We finished off Rachel’s tea length tulle wedding gown with a hand beaded lace headpiece and a finger tip length veil.
“Ohhhhhh what an amazing dress. Ohhhhhh what an incredible feeling to wear it.” – Rachel, November 2015

Carolyn and Gerard found each other later in life and decided to hold an intimate wedding for just their family at Caversham House before heading to the Royal for drinks with their friends. Carolyn was looking for a vintage wedding dress that was comfortable, ‘age appropriate’ and most importantly, something she felt special in on their wedding day. We sketched up a tea length vintage wedding dress with lace sleeves and helped Carolyn select the lace and fabric for her dress.
Every fitting was an absolute delight with Carolyn, she was always smiling and she often had one of her daughters in tow. We worked with Carolyn to design accessories to suit her vintage wedding dress, we created a headband and even a handmade silk tie for Gerard. We also made a silk garter as a surprise from her daughters.
Carolyn focused on personal touches for their special day by creating all of her own place cards, menus and signs/chalkboards. Carolyn & Gerard were also able to utilise their personal collection of vintage glass to decorate the beautiful Garden Room at Caversham House, how sweet is that?
TESTIMONIAL // “I am still smiling from ear to ear I just simply loved everything about all the pieces you made for the wedding. Gerard’s tie was perfect as well and he just loved it even his pocket square was perfect. The worse part of the whole day now being over is trying to come up with a good reason to wear it all over again.”
