Industrial Country Inspiration Shoot

Earlier this year, we were super excited to provide a team of talented Perth creatives with our tea-length gown ‘Daphne’. They put together what can only be described as a magnificent ‘Industrial Country Inspiration Shoot’. I just adore the stark contrast between the vintage glam and industrial styling. I think I’ll let the images do the talking…

A big thank you to Still Love for the imagery. Click here to view more on Hello May.

Part 1 – Helen & Beau’s Movie Inspired Engagement Shoot

We had the pleasure to be included in a gorgeous engagement shoot styled by Flight of Fancy by Kristy. Kristy was looking for vintage inspired garments to complete the look, the ‘Katrina’ dress was the perfect choice! The silk dupion structured dress was perfectly suited to the dramatic setting created at Luna Cinemas in Leederville.

Big thank you to Carly from CJ Williams Photography for the images.

The shoot included lots of lovely local vendors such as…

We had a such a lovely surprise when we discovered Jessie, from The Velvet Bow, wrote a feature blog post on our gowns aptly titled ‘White Lace’. Jessie, a fashion blogger, is also a bride-to-be and discovered Elvi Design when she visited the First Comes Love bridal fair over the weekend.

Jessie admired the custom made gown we created for our client Jess. She loved the beautiful lace and the cut of the tea-length gown.

Elvi Design featured on Polka Dot Bride

Our recent photo shoot has been featured on Polka Dot Bride, click here to view the post. We held the photo shoot at old Woodbridge House in Guildford and teamed up with a number of local creatives-

Photographer – Christine Lim / Models – Cherie Anthony and Natalie Moore

Hair Stylist – Wendy Bunnett / Make-up Artist – Chrystal Duffy

Florist – Podz  / Hair Accessories – Amgia

As described by Polka Dot Bride –

Elvi Design has such feminine pieces in classic 1950s silhouettes with a modern edge. Each garment has beautiful attention to detail – whether it be the fabric covered buttons, the crystal brooch waistbands or the delicate lace backs.’

‘The Elvi Cocktail Collection is designed for bridesmaids, pre-wedding events, or even special dress up occasions like the races. There are incredible colours like charcoal and vintage rose and gorgeous fabrics like silk dupion and silk georgette.’

‘The wedding gown collection carries a range of shapes and styles – from tea length numbers suitable for garden weddings to full length gowns with art deco inspired touches. Again the gowns use fine silk dupions, beaded laces and silk satins. I love the gorgeous necklines and the lace, oh the lace! Then there’s the bows and beading, the prettiness of these gowns is done so well!’
